Marlene Marx is an intern with the Wider Europe programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations, based in the Paris office. Prior to joining ECFR, Marx held various research assistant positions at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs and the University of Groningen, working on projects on international economic sanctions and the European defence industry.
